People keep complaining about getting old, but surely the alternative is worse?
Because the second we stop getting old, it’s lights out, game over...
Getting old isn’t the problem, deciding to waste the time we have left is the problem.
We have a choice; stay in line and live an average, humdrum life - or get out there and start REALLY living.

Experience of the Week
Her name was Lola...
She’s not a showgirl - she’s the housekeeper at a spectacular villa where we spent the last 13 days.
Not only does Lola keep the place immaculate, she’s a world class cook.
She showed us how to make Salmorejo and Pollo al ajillo with Patatas fritas (cold soup and chicken & chips) - hardly.
Two of the best dishes I’ve tasted in Spain, served with a glass of chilled Verdejo at our private pool bar.
It was a good week.
