My Biggest Takeaway
Keepin' it real...
In one of the alleyways in Pueblo Nuevo, youāll find, at first glance, what looks like a grotty tapas bar.
This place wonāt be winning any Michelin awards, and youāll likely find yourself sitting next to the empties and dodgy power supply boxes on the wall.
But our host Miguel is a star, and the tapas are as good and cheap as weāve found anywhere.Ā
This is what I love about integrating into a new way of life, getting down and dirty and going where the locals are, because thatās where you find the good stuff.
You can keep your posh restaurants, Iāll beĀ at El Rinconcito if you need me⦠|

What I Watched
This is what a 200,000 person hug feels like š WHAT A MOMENT š„¹
Glastonbury crowdĀ helps Lewis Capaldi as he struggles to finish āSomeone You Lovedā
This goes to show that there is still real compassion out there.
When you've got your TRIBE behind you, everything's gonna be okay.
Watch the magic here... |

Experience of the Week
The Zombies are coming...
Itās that time of the year when the holidaymakers start arriving in Sotogrande.
They may look human as they move amongst us, but they actually have no concept of basic humanity; these are the Zombies of Madrid.
Your driveway will be blocked for hours, theyāll barge you out of the way to reach the checkout first, whilst theirĀ mutant offspringĀ are left to howl uncontrollably in the aisles.Ā
They'll glare at youĀ through dead eyes, trying to work out whatĀ right you have to populate the same space as them.
The Zombies are coming, itās time for the Soto Summer Apocolypse. |
