My Biggest Takeaway
Getting a second chance
Jules found my rap sheet. It’s four and a half pages long.
She knew I’d had a ‘brush’ with the law in my teens, but she didn’t even know what some of those charges meant.
Here’s what I said to her…
Experience of the Week
A double murder on Wednesday
A couple we met ‘on the manor’ asked if we’d like a game of Padel, with the caveat, “I hope you don’t mind, we’re not very good” 🤔
First set: Murdered us 1-6 Second set: Slightly less dead
It all finished up with beers, wine and lots of laughs, and looks like we’ve made some great new friends.
Padel Tennis is awesome for meeting new people. If you haven’t tried it, look up your local club and give it a go.
And maybe we’ll get a game with you down here at one of our Escapes - I promise we’re not very good 😎
What I watched
The Encounter by Alice Aedy
We seem to have forgotten about the conversations, relationships, and adventures we could have if we take the time to get to know people.
This is a story about what happens if we do...
Quote of the Week
"If you ever get a second chance in life for something, you’ve got to go all the way." - Lance Armstrong
Song of the Week
Santa Esmeralda - Don't let me be misunderstood
A classic with a Spanish twist - check it out here…
What I Read
The explosion by Seth
Fear the rot, the explosions are merely a distraction... read it here
Ask me Anything
Yep, just hit reply and ask me about Life, Business or anything else.
I promise I’ll reply personally, ‘cause that’s how I roll.
Try it Yourself
If one, previous bad decision is holding you back, try these:
Accept it: The first step is acknowledging your mistake and understanding why you made it. Look at the situation objectively and identify what you could have done differently.
Forgive yourself: Don't beat yourself up over it. Remember that everyone makes mistakes and you're not defined by one bad decision.
Focus on the future: Put it behind you, set new goals and plan how to achieve them. Use what you've learned to become a stronger person and move on with confidence.
And Finally...

That's it, have a great Weekend ❤️
Andy
