My Biggest Takeaway
It's in their DNA.
On Monday I had a theory about why Spanish driving is so appalling.
I reckon it's in their DNA from when everyone went around on horses.
Back then, you didn't have to concentrate on what you were doing; no mirrors to check, roundabouts to worry about or junctions to stop at; it was all done for you.
You could lean over, chat to your mate and never worry about swerving into oncoming traffic.

When I went to night school to learn to type, my workmates howled with laughter and mocked me relentlessly.
6 Weeks later, I secured an editorial job and the salary I needed to pay for flight school. Unfortunately for them, my so-called ‘mates’ were still behind the bar at the Fosters Fun Pub where they complained endlessly about the shitty hours.
By utilising my creativity and newly found typing skills, I went on to build a freelance business around writing articles for others. Today that business is Great Circle Digital Marketing.
I’m not saying that typing is beneath anyone; it’s a skill. But it’s generally not what a 19-year-old lad learns to do on his nights off.
Work hard in silence and let success make the noise.
