The universe was bored this week...
With nowt better to do, it was flinging challenges at us faster than biscuits to a dog. One boxed off, here comes another…
By Wednesday, I was questioning how evil I must have been in a previous life.
Jack Canfield talks about E+R=O (Event + Response = Outcome). For every event that happens to you in life, you have a choice of how to respond, and that response will determine the outcome.
Taking that into account, it seems we made it through. Mind you, we’re only at lunchtime on Friday 😁
Experience of the Week
Joolsy! Bandits at 12 O'Clock
Just when you think Spanish driving couldn’t get any worse, the locals took it to another level this week.
Overtaking 3 abreast around blind corners, undertaking trucks using the motorway sliproad (whilst texting at 120kms an hour), and U-turning on roundabouts.
What can you do? We’re strangers in their country; it’s who they are and what they do. Sometimes you have to grin and bear it.
Saying that, I’ve just ordered a 50 Cal Machine Gun for the 'Disco' - and Jules has been promoted from Navigator to Weapons Systems Officer 😁
What I Watched
Tom Nash - The Perks of Being a Pirate
Think you’re having a bad day? A must-watch 8 minutes that will get you thinking differently about overcoming setbacks in your life.
Quote of the Week
Vitally important, rarely taught, easily messed up. In order to go onto the next thing, which we all do (unless you're still wearing pyjamas with feet and taking ballet lessons), we need to walk away from the last thing. Wrap it up, learn from it, leave it in good hands. And we also need to have an idea of what the next thing is. ~ Seth
Tune of the Week
Lost Frequencies ft. Sandro Cavazza - Beautiful Life
A great summer tune which nicely sums up ONE LIFE - and check out the motors 😎

Try it Yourself
3 Tips for Overcoming Setbacks
Practice self-compassion - To bounce back faster, be kind to yourself, acknowledge the difficulty of the situation, and remind yourself that setbacks are a natural part of this thing called life.
Focus on what you can control - Instead of dwelling on what you can't change, focus on what you can control; your attitude, your actions, or the steps you take to move forward.
Reframe the setback as an opportunity - Reframe the situation as a chance to learn something new, develop new skills, or gain a new perspective. You’ll find that setbacks can be valuable experiences that help you become more resilient in the long run. Take it from one who knows!
Ask me Anything
Yep, just hit reply and ask me about Life, Business or anything else.
I promise I’ll reply personally ‘cause that’s how I roll.
And Finally...
Maybe it's a Spanish secret (Xavier knows...) 😁

That's it, have a great Weekend ❤️
Andy
