Privacy policy.

Last updated: 31st May 2026

We're Andy and Jules, the people behind ONE LIFE. We take your privacy seriously, and we've tried to write this in plain English rather than legal fog. This policy explains what information we collect when you use onelifers.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" means ONE LIFE, a brand of Great Circle Limited, a company registered in Jersey (No. 106878). For the purposes of data protection law, Great Circle Limited is the data controller for the information described below.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, you can reach us at support@onelifers.com.

The information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill in a contact or enquiry form, book a discovery call, sign up for our newsletter or free guide, or purchase one of our coaching offers, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, country or location, and anything you choose to tell us about your situation or goals. If you buy a coaching service, payment is handled by our checkout provider (see below), and we receive confirmation of the purchase along with your billing details.

Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, when you visit onelifers.com we and our service providers collect some technical information through cookies and similar tools. This can include your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand how the site is used and to keep it working properly.

Information from social platforms. If you interact with us on YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, those platforms may share aggregated, non-identifying information with us about how people engage with our content. We don't receive your private account details.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls

  • deliver the coaching services you've booked

  • send you the newsletter, free guide or other content you've asked for

  • process payments and keep records of transactions

  • understand how our website and content are performing, so we can improve them

  • meet our legal and accounting obligations

We will only send you marketing emails if you've asked to hear from us, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Our legal basis for using your information

As a Jersey company, we process your information under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. Because we offer services to people in the UK and the EU, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR may also apply. These laws set very similar standards, and we rely on the following grounds:

  • Performing a contract: to deliver the coaching services you've booked and to take payment.

  • Your consent: to send you marketing emails and to use non-essential cookies. You can withdraw this at any time.

  • Our legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, run and improve our website, and understand how our content performs, in a way that's balanced against your rights.

  • Legal obligation: to keep financial and tax records as required by law.

Who we share your information with

We don't sell your information to anyone. We do use trusted third-party services to run our business, and your information passes through some of them. The main ones are:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website, handles form submissions, and sends our email newsletter

  • Kajabi, which we use for checkout and delivering some of our offers

  • Stripe and PayPal, which process payments

  • Google (Analytics and YouTube), which helps us understand website and video performance

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), in connection with our social content

Each of these providers handles your data under their own privacy terms, and we choose providers that take data protection seriously. We may also share information where we're legally required to, for example with tax authorities or in response to a lawful request.

International transfers

We're a Jersey company, our audience is largely in the UK, and some of our service providers are based elsewhere (for example in the United States). Where your information is transferred to another country, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent approved mechanisms, to keep your information protected.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes set out above. Enquiry and discovery-call records are kept while there's an active interest and for a reasonable period afterwards. Financial and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymise it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function and to help us understand how it's used. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used where you've given consent through our cookie banner. You can manage or refuse cookies through your browser settings or through the cookie controls on the site.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you

  • ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate

  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances

  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use it

  • ask us to transfer your information to another provider

  • withdraw any consent you've given, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@onelifers.com and we'll respond within the timeframes the law requires.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority. As a Jersey company, our supervisory authority is the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC). If you're based in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), and if you're in the EU, to your national authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

Children

ONE LIFE is for adults, and our services are aimed at people over 50. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to work with providers who do the same. No system is ever completely secure, but we treat your information with the care we'd want for our own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and significant changes will be made clear on this page.
